The third week sessions of the Ibn Haldun Academy Spring Seminars, which was themed "Aesthetics", were held on Saturday, May 20, in our campus and online via Zoom.
The program started with the third session of Prof. Dr. Alev Erkilet's seminar titled "City and Aesthetics" then continued with the third session of Vahdettin Işık's "Living in the Islamic City as an Aesthetic Life Space" seminar. After the lunch break, Dr. Hasan Ramazan Yılmaz held the third session of his seminar titled “Aesthetic Origins, Past and Present of Cinema”. After the seminars, a competition was held with our participants on Kahoot and the winners were awarded with the books of our speakers.
The program, which started with the third and final sessions of our instructors' seminars, was attended by Prof. Dr. He continued with Burhanettin Tatar's conference titled "The Hermeneutic Character of Islamic Aesthetics". After the conference, the third week program of Ibn Haldun Academy Spring Seminars was completed.
Ibn Haldun Academy Spring Seminars will continue with the first sessions of the seminars of Assoc. Dr. Enis Doko, Prof. Dr. Halil Berktay and Prof. Dr. Mahmud Erol Kılıç and Günseli Kato's conference titled "Traces of Aesthetics in Eastern Arts" on Saturday, May 27.
