Our President Prof. Dr. Atilla Arkan Held Several Meetings in Kuwait
In line with the internationalisation goals of our university, a Delegation headed by Prof. Atilla Arkan, our President held several meetings in Kuwait.

A Delegation from our University has organized a visit to Kuwait, to enhance our existing collaborations and forge new relations on December 30-31.  The program of our delegation, headed by Prof. Atilla Arkan, our President, organized in response to the invitation extended by Kuwait-based Al-Rasikhoun Association, started with the meeting held in the headquarters of the association. Joint projects, particularly on the Arabic language education and Islamic sciences were discussed at the meeting, in which Dr. Yasin Al-Nashmi, the Chairman, and other executives of the association.

As the second stop in the program, our delegation paid a visit to University of Kuwait. During the meeting held with Dr. Fahad El-Fadli, Vice President for Education at University of Kuwait, potential areas of collaboration, including faculty and student exchange in the field of social sciences, as well as joint project ideas were addressed.

Within the scope of the visit program, the delegation attended the graduation ceremony of the Pioneer Scientists Program, which is one of the first concrete outputs of the collaboration between our university and Al-Rasikhoun Association. Prof. Atilla Arkan, our President, who delivered a speech at the ceremony, informed the attendees that Ibn Haldun University has distinguished itself in the field of social sciences and one of the prominent institutions in Türkiye in terms of its qualified Arabic training, and popularizing it. After speeches on the content of the program, and presentation of commemorative plaques the ceremony was concluded.

Last stop of the visit program was the Turkish Embassy in Kuwait.  Our delegation was received by Ambassador Tuba Nur Sönmez, and Prof. Arkan thanked Ms. Sönmez for the support of the Turkish Embassy for its support for organizing the visit program. During the meeting, Ms. Sönmez stated she would be pleased to assist joint projects to be realized in Kuwait.
