Within the scope of the cooperation between our university and the Association of Financial Institutions (FKB) and member institutions, the first Savings Financing System Workshop was held on Friday, October 20 at Ibn Haldun University Complex under the theme of "Assessment of the Situation Related to the Sector".
Greeting the participants at the beginning of the workshop, Our Rector Prof. Atilla Arkan expressed his happiness that sector representatives and academics came together to organize such a workshop and that Ibn Haldun University hosted this workshop.
At the workshop, sector stakeholders and expert academics from our University came together and discussed the current situation, past and future of the Savings Finance system. The workshop, which addressed an important transformation in Turkey's financial sector, discussed key issues such as the future of the Savings Finance System, training qualified human resources, legislative regulations, developing communication and media relations, creating literature and developing the system.
The workshop was conducted by academics under the chairmanship of Prof. Atilla Arkan, Rector of Ibn Haldun University, and was attended by our vice-rectors and academics from various departments.
The academics listened to the sector participants, shared their opinions and suggestions about the problems faced by the sector and its future, and held discussions.
According to the results obtained from the workshop, it was understood that the financial sector continues to take important steps towards making it more effective, innovative and inclusive, and that the Savings Finance system can contribute to the development of the financial sector. Ibn Haldun University also shows that it will continue its efforts to bring together academia and sector stakeholders, attaching importance to its mission of cooperation with the real sector.
