IHU Academics Gathered at the Consultation and Evaluation Camp

Ibn Haldun University Academic Consultation and Evaluation Camp was held on January 21-23 with the participation of the Board of Trustees and academics and their families.

Greeting the participants at the opening session of the camp, Chairman of the Board of Trustees Prof. İrfan Gündüz pointed out the importance of meeting with all IHU’s academics periodically and stated that such meetings have a great function both in strengthening the institutional belonging and in sharing and discussing opinions, suggestions and evaluations on all kinds of issues.

Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees Necmeddin Bilal Erdoğan, in his address to the academics, stated that Ibn Haldun University has made great progress both in education and research and in terms of physical environments, even during the pandemic, and stated that we look at education on a strategic basis and continue to work with the goal of an institution that will sustain for hundreds of years. Expressing that the university attaches great importance to stressing out the focus on research by the departments and the importance of contributing to the society through field projects, Erdoğan said that these studies will be deepened with workshops and presentations to be held at the camp.

President of Ibn Haldun University Prof. Atilla Arkan, on the other hand, gave a short briefing on the purpose and scope of the camp and underlined the goal of carrying the University to the future with confidence. Stating that education plans will be discussed at the camp to make evaluations and implement the plans with a common mind, Arkan concluded his speech by wishing full success to the meeting of the camp.

After the opening speeches, roundtable meetings, workshops and presentations were held for 3 days at the camp, mainly on innovative learning and teaching processes, research capacity and project opportunities.
