The 2021-2022 Academic Year Opening Ceremony of Ibn Haldun University (IHU) was held on Monday, September 27 at the Ibn Haldun University Complex with the participation of esteemed guests, academics and new undergraduate students. The Opening Ceremony was also broadcast live on our corporate Youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/ibnhalduni).
The ceremony witnessed the participation of each of Prof. Irfan Gunduz, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Prof. Atilla Arkan, President of IHU, Dr. Fatmanur Altun, Chairman of IHU’s founding foundation (TÜRGEV), Mahir Unal, the Former Minister of Culture and Tourism and Prof. İlhan İlkılıç, the faculty member of Medicine at Istanbul University.
The opening ceremony was concluded with Prof. İlhan İlkılıç's Opening Lecture titled "The Meaning and Purpose of University Education in Turkey in the Modern World."
