İbn Haldun University's Traditional Family Iftar took place on Friday, March 14th, at our university campus with broad participation. The event was attended by our Minister of Industry and Technology, Mehmet Fatih Kacır, our Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Prof. İrfan Gündüz, our President, Prof. Atilla Arkan, distinguished guests from the business world, as well as our university's academic and administrative staff, and students.
The iftar program, which started with a performance of Sufi music, continued with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by the iftar meal and protocol speeches. The speeches highlighted the importance of strengthening the feelings of unity, solidarity, and brotherhood, emphasized the sense of responsibility, and drew attention to the ongoing oppression in Palestine and the violation of rights. Wishes were expressed for this meaningful gathering to continue in the future.
Our Traditional Family Iftar provided not only the joy of sharing the same table but also the opportunity to experience the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan together. We thank all our members who participated and hope to gather again at many more Ramadan tables.
