Between July 7 and August 3, students from 42 different cities of our country spent a full camp period from workshops to readings, from mock exams to excursions at the YKS Academic Preparatory Camp and Art Sports Culture Camp held on the campus of our University.
In the YKS Academic Preparatory Camp and Art, Sports and Culture Camp, where 260 students were hosted in total, writing workshop, thinking and organizing skills, study techniques, digital media literacy, career planning, video production, algorithm and artificial intelligence, digital literacy, project writing, effective interpersonal communication, history readings and drama, as well as mentoring activities that will increase students' competencies and direct them towards their career goals in the Summer Culture and Art School.
At the YKS Academy, where TYT basic skills courses were given, students participated in a marathon of mock exams and question solving every Saturday. Students took intensive classes 5 days a week and benefited from one-on-one office and study sessions. After the competitions and seminars on the 6th day of each week, they visited the important places of the city such as Bosphorus and Beşiktaş tour, historical peninsula tour, July 15 Martyrs Museum and Çamlıca Hill on Sundays.
The YKS Academic Preparation Camp and Art, Sports, Culture Camp ended on Saturday, August 3 after a productive 4-week program with the presentation of certificates to the participants by our Rector Prof. Atilla Arkan, Secretary General Sebahattin Belik and Deputy Secretary General Kemal Sarı.
