The 3rd Türkiye-Uzbekistan Education Forum, which was hosted by Istanbul Technical University (ITU) was attended by a delegation from our University, headed by our President Prof. Dr. Atilla Arkan, and consisted of our Vice Presidents, Director of Haydar Aliyev Center for Eurasian Studies, and the International Office team. Held in the Süleyman Demirel Culture Center on the Ayazağa Campus of ITU, the first day of the event was packed with parallel sessions on various topics of mutual interest, while the second day witnessed signing of new agreements between universities in both countries.
Having identified strengthening its relations with the countries in the whole Turkistan region, including Uzbekistan; our University held some bilateral meetings aiming at forging new partnerships on the occasion of the Forum. As a result of these bilateral meetings, memoranda of understanding for academic collaboration were signed with International Institute of Food Technology and Engineering, Karakalpak State University, Gulistan State University, and Denau Institute of Entrepreneurship and Pedagogy.
The intensive 2-day program, which gave a new momentum to the academic collaboration between Uzbekistan and Türkiye, was concluded with the closing remarks.
