IHU's Undergraduate Law Student Placed First in the Essay Contest
Ibn Haldun University School of Law student Abdülmecit Güldağı became 1st at the undergraduate level in the article competition on the theme of "Islamophobia in the Context of Criminal Law"

School of Law student Abdülmecit Güldağı ranked 1st at the undergraduate level of the article competition which was organized by the Faculty of Law and Law Club of Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University. The contest held under the theme of "Islamophobia in the Context of Criminal Law," was organised for the third time in memory of Martyr Prosecutor Mehmet Selim Kiraz.

The article competition, which was first held in 2020, is held in order to keep alive the memory of Public Prosecutor Mehmet Selim Kiraz, who was martyred in 2015 by the DHKP-C terrorist organization and to contribute to the legal literature. This year, the contest is organized under the title of "Islamophobia in the Context of Criminal Law" and the students who ranked in the competition were presented their awards at the ceremony held with the participation of Minister of Justice Bekir Bozdağ and Martyr Prosecutor Mehmet Selim Kiraz's father Hakkı Kiraz.
