Ibn Haldun University Arabic debating team reached the finals undefeated in the qualifying matches between 20 universities in the Turkish Universities Arabic Debating Competition held on 20-28 December in cooperation with Qatar Debate and Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University. The team, which placed second in the final, qualified to participate in the International Arabic Debate Competition to be held in Qatar in March-2022.
In addition, Yılmaz Acar and Muhammed Salih Yıldız, the students of Islamic Sciences Department and Islamic Sciences Department, were ranked 1st and 2nd in the title of the “Best Debater.” Acar and Yıldız were awarded by Bilal Erdoğan, the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ibn Haldun University. Abdurrahman Khaled, the student of the Department of New Media and Communication, placed 4th in the category of "Best Native Arabic Speakers" of the tournament.
