An in-service training was conducted at the Ibn Haldun University Complex on Thursday, October 6 by the Innovative Learning and Teaching Coordinatorship (CILT) to ensure that the courses are taught in an active learning-based, competency-based and student-centered manner at our university. The meeting was held with the participation of faculty members from all faculties and departments.
Rector Prof. Atilla Arkan, who made the opening speech of the training meeting, emphasized the importance of constantly renewing the learning and teaching processes, improving from good to better and using digital tools in education.
CILT Coordinator Assist. Dr. Mehmet Akın Bulut explained the details of the "Best Teaching Practices Award", which will be implemented this year for faculty members to share their effective and innovative teaching experiences, through various examples.
The meeting continued with the presentation of ARCS, a model to increase learner motivation, and interactive designs by faculty members.
