This semester's event of the Open Microphone series, which has been developed to become a tradition by Ibn Haldun University’s Student Representatives Board, was held on Tuesday, November 9 at the Event Hall of the Student Center.
President Atilla Arkan, Secretary General Sebahattin Belik, academic and administrative staff, and many students attended the event. The event provided the students with the opportunity to talk about any topic they wish within 2 and a half minute. While some students expressed some demands regarding the university and student dormitories, others preferred to talk about very different subjects and issues.
At the end of the event, Prof. Atilla Arkan delivered a short speech, referencing some of the events he experienced in his own life, and emphasizing the importance of viewing issues from others’ perspectives.
