TÜBA and TÜBİTAK Science Awards Ceremony was held at Beştepe National Congress and Culture Center on Wednesday, December 28, with the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. At the ceremony, our Professor Ş. Teoman Durali, who served in the staff of our University from 2017 until his death, was also deemed worthy of the TÜBİTAK Service Award.
At the ceremony in which our Rector Prof. Dr. Atilla Arkan was also present, the award on behalf of the deceased Duralı was presented to his son Deniz Durali by President Erdogan.
Şaban Teoman Durali, who was nominated for awards by our University Senate, was deemed worthy of the "Service Award" for training scientists, institutionalizing the branch of philosophy and playing an important role in the realization of scientific breakthroughs in Turkey.
