The channel, which hosts programs that will cover different issues related to society, art, economy and the digital world, as well as current issues on the agenda of the country and the world, brings together the contents produced by our academics and students with the world.
One of the special contents produced in this direction was the program "History Talks with Suraiya Faroqhi”, the first episode of which was broadcast on Monday, May 15. In the program series moderated by our History Department Lecturer Dr. M. Fatih Çalışır, Prof. Dr. Suraiya Faroqhi will convey her views on the historical issues she has been working on for many years.
In the future, in addition to the history talks, the works of our academicians will be shared with the audience through special programs on the IHU Media Center YouTube channel.
Ibn Haldun University Media Center started its activities on October 24, 2022 with a ceremony attended by our Board of Trustees, academicians, guests and students.
Our IHU Media Center, which was opened within the scope of the Digital Media Research and Visual Arts Academy project supported by Istanbul Development Agency's 2021 Creative Industries Financial Support Program, was put into service with its director and production equipment with the latest technology, editing and sounding rooms, decors and studio.
The Center, where digital content about the projects and activities carried out by our university is prepared, broadcasts various programs and news videos with IHU TV and IHU News Agency, aiming not only to contribute to the development of our students' communication skills and competencies, but also to be beneficial to the society in many areas.
In this direction, IHU Media Center, which started its broadcasting life on Youtube, started to host programs that will cover different issues related to society, art, economy and the digital world, as well as current issues on the agenda of the country and the world. On the other hand, it is aimed that IHU News Agency will present the content it has produced and will produce in the form of video news, interviews and documentaries as open source, both to the public and to media organizations from Turkey and the world, through its digital channels.
