An Educational Cooperation Protocol was signed between our University and Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education on July 11, 2024 in order to increase the success levels of students and support the professional development of educators. The protocol signing ceremony was held at Ibn Haldun University Başakşehir Campus. The protocol was signed by our Rector Prof. Atilla Arkan and Provincial Director of National Education Assoc. Murat Mücahit Yentür.
During the signing ceremony, our Rector Prof. Atilla Arkan emphasized the importance of increasing the quality of education by drawing attention to the rapid changes in technology and artificial intelligence that also affect education, emphasizing that the updates in our education system and innovative learning methods should be transferred to our teachers correctly, and expressed his belief that teachers, who are at the center of education, will increase their performance in the classroom when they gain motivation to improve themselves.
Assoc. Prof. Murat Mücahit Yentür stated that various certification programs will be organized for teachers and school administrators within the scope of the cooperation. In his speech, Assoc. Prof. Yentür mentioned that our faculty members will attend lectures at the designated schools and our teachers will have the opportunity to attend the lectures at our university as listeners, thus ensuring the flow of mutual knowledge and experience.
Within the scope of the protocol, with the "University at School - School at University" program, academics will hold visionary talks at schools and teachers will share their field experiences at universities. In addition, carrying out national and international projects with institutions such as TÜBİTAK and Istanbul Development Agency is among the targeted outputs of the project.
At the same time, in addition to the congresses, panels and conferences to be organized by our University, cultural, artistic and sports courses for students, conferences, presentations and seminars that will contribute to their educational and professional choices are also planned to be organized within the scope of the protocol.
