Prof. Dr. Atilla Arkan, our President, welcomed a delegation at our Başakşehir Complex, headed by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Wan Sabri Bin Wan, Vice-Chancellor of Sultan Shah University in Perak Darul Ridzuan region in Malaysia on 8 July 2024. On the occasion of the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding, framing the potential areas of cooperation between the two institutions, was signed. The signed Agreement envisages strengthening the universities' academic relations, particularly through student exchange and joint projects and activities. It is further aimed with the Agreement that academics of both universities engage in joint scientific studies, and contribute to academic advancement through exchange of academics.
After the visit by the Azlan Shah University delegation, our President welcomed the Yayasan Perak Education Institution delegation, headed by its Chief Executive Officer Dr. Nasreen Khanum Binti Nawab Zadah Khan. The meeting, in which opportunities to support Malaysian higher education students are discussed, culminated in signing an MoU, to formalize the points of mutual interest. In this regard, it was decided that parties would cooperate in various fields, particularly in the form of supporting Malaysian students who are willing to complete their university studies at İbn Haldun University, supporting Ibn Haldun University students wishing to participate in the student exchange programs of Malaysian universities, encouraging participation in summer schools to be organized by each party, supporting the exchange of academics and organizing various scientific events and activities.
Agreements signed with both institutions fall under the steps taken within the framework of the internationalization strategy of our university.
