ISOGOC IV - 4th International Seminar on Government and Civilization, organized in cooperation with Ibn Haldun University and Malaysia Putra University, was held on 21 September 2023 at the Ibn Haldun University Complex.
The seminar, where academics who have studies on the subject presented the papers of participants from different cities and universities in Türkiye and Malaysia, was organized with the theme of "The Landscape of Malaysian-Turkish Politics and Civilization: Expanding the Horizon".
The program, which started with the welcome speech of Vice President Mr. Mustafa Kemal Yılmaz, continued with the speeches of the representatives of Putra University Malaysia. The common point of the speeches was that the studies and cooperation between Türkiye and Malaysia should be increased and the visibility and awareness of this field should be contributed to. He added that Türkiye-Malaysia bilateral relations should be supported and increased.
After the opening speeches made by Associate Professor Mehmet Özay from Türkiye and Professor Doctor Zaid Ahmad from Malaysia, 33 speakers who are experts in their fields had the opportunity to present and discuss their articles in 8 concurrent sessions, 4 face-to-face and 4 online. Numerous various areas were touched upon in the seminar sessions, from sustainability to security, from history and civilization to ethnic studies, and from culture-belief interaction to public administration.
The closing speech of the program was made by Professor Doctor Khairudin Aljunied. Following the presentation of gifts and certificates, the program was completed by taking a family photo.
