Per the letter dated 17.02.2023 and numbered E-75850160-301.01.01-12552 issued by the Council of Higher Education, we hereby confirm that the forthcoming academic pursuits set to take place in the 2022-2023 Spring Semester at our university shall adhere to the delineated tenets set forth below:
- The courses for the 2022-2023 Academic Year Spring Semester will commence on 20.02.2023.
- All theoretical courses will be conducted online under the "Procedures and Principles Regarding Distance Education in Higher Education Institutions".
- Undergraduate students who will take practical courses will continue their education face-to-face starting from April.
- Course materials (PowerPoint, Pdf, Word, etc.) will be shared with students via Canvas.
- Classes will be held online via Zoom within the hours specified in the previously announced course schedule.
- The lectures will be recorded on Canvas and made accessible to our students.
- The classes will be conducted synchronously by our academic staff in university classrooms, and students may attend in-person if they wish.
- The methods and procedures for midterm and final exams will be announced at a later date.
- Students who reside in earthquake-affected provinces or whose immediate family members reside in such provinces but are registered in universities in other provinces may be admitted as special students at our university if they wish to continue their practical education as mentioned in item three, within three weeks of the start of the spring semester.
- In the case of students whose own residences or those of their families are in earthquake-affected provinces, they will be given the right to freeze their registration by the relevant committees within three weeks of the start of the spring semester, upon their request. This period will not be deducted from the maximum duration of the program.
- For students whose immediate family members have passed away or whose residences have been destroyed or damaged in provinces covered by the state of emergency, the payment of tuition fees for the spring semester will be deferred until the fall semester, and additional facilities will be provided regarding tuition, scholarships, and accommodation needs.
- These decisions may be revised in April, depending on the prevailing conditions at that time.
The disaster has left our hearts heavy and our souls pained. In this time of grief, we offer our sincere condolences to all those who have been impacted. We pray for swift healing for the wounded and mercy from Allah for those who lost their lives.
