From Past to Future Extraordinary Circumstances, Creative Solutions

From the past to the future, natural disasters, wars, global and regional political crises, and economic distress have prompted humanity to develop new perspectives and creative solutions. The resulting products have played an essential role in shaping the world. The approach of young people who assume the leading role in shaping the future regarding extraordinary circumstances has an indispensable gravity in producing creative solutions. In this respect, in addition to academic studies, the unique perspective and healing power of literature throughout history have contributed to the emergence of solutions vis-a-vis extraordinary situations that will carry us to a better world.

“Extraordinary Situations, Creative Solutions from the Past to the Future” Best Text Contest is organized within our university to contribute to producing creative solutions to extraordinary situations experienced in the world. Within the scope of the contest, literary works in different genres and research studies written in Turkish, English, and Arabic from all undergraduate students will be evaluated. After the evaluation, the winning works will be rewarded as an incentive and they will be published by Ibn Haldun University Press.

Application Requirements:

Ibn Haldun University undergraduate students can participate in the contest.
Submitted texts must be original and must not be published elsewhere. Texts that have been submitted to any other contest before will not be evaluated.
The applicant can participate in the contest with only one text.
The text must be submitted as an MS Word document in 12-point font, Times New Roman, and must be at least 10,000 words.

Participants accept that they are submitting for evaluation their original works.

Applicants must fill in all sections of the application form and submit it by 5.00 pm on July 31, 2023.

1st Prize: 10.000 TL
2nd Prize: 7.500 TL
3rd Prize: 5.000 TL
